Srimongal: The most Beautiful place in Bangladesh


Srimangal is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. Srimangal is the rendezvous of tea gardens, hills and forests. This place is very enchanting for its tea gardens. Whenever you visit, you will see the green mat is covered with a long space surrounds the entire area. Srimangal is the tea capital of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Tea Research Institute:
Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI) is established 3.2km away from Srimangal main town in Moulvibazar district. Besides the research center, long area covers with tea garden for both research and production. It is so exhilarating and cozy place for the tourist come from native and abroad. Tourist can be light up to drink seven-color tea. This type of tea is the combination of magical aspect to deserve your wish to journey to Srimangal.

How to go to Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI):
Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI) is far about 3.2km away from Srimangal main town. Tourist have to take a bus or auto rickshaw to go to tea research institute. After reaching, you can see the prodigious tea garden and research center. Tourist shed is created for the tourist that provides you a thorough rest to explore the taste of journey.

Lawachara Rain Forest:
Lawachara is one of the most beautiful rain forests in Bangladesh. From srimangal town, only 8km away to reach this forest. This forest wide spread over a long area that seems like a green shadow. It is surrounded by over 0.05km. Wildlife is so propitious and balmy. About 460 types of birds, mammals, reptiles live in this rain forest. This forest consists of different wild life such as deer, wild chicken, languor, parrot, snakes, python and different types of bugs. Besides, you can see distinct categories of trees in this forest that you have not ever seen before. Tourist gets pleasure to visit this place with their friends and family.


How to go to Lawachara Rain Forest:
It is so favorable transportation system to go in Lawachara Rain Forest. Especially tourist needs to go by bus; CNG auto rickshaw and other local vehicles always stand to serve you as a guest.

Tourist can take rest and domiciliary facilities in the Lawachara Rain forest guesthouse. However, it should be noted that tourists are advised to town hold. Govt. Rest house, hotel is available to serve you and allows you to travel around the spots.

Entry fees:
Bangladeshi tourists are charged 20 BDT as entrance fee and foreigners are charged about 5USD. If the tourist is student, will be charged with 10 BDT by showing student’s ID card.

Madhabkunda waterfall


Madhabkunda waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in Bangladesh. It’s very beautiful place in Bangladesh. It is situated in Barlekha Upazila in Sylhet. The waterfall is a popular tourist spot in Bangladesh. Every year lot's of local tourist & foreign tourist come here to spend their leisure. Big boulders, surrounding forest, and the adjoining streams attracts many tourists for picnic parties and day trips.

How to go Madhobkunda waterfall: 

To reach the waterfall at Madhobkundo, you take the road towards Borlekha from Moulvi Bazar. Go past Kulaura and the Juri intersection. Just before reaching Borlekha you turn right into a smaller road and follow it for eight kilometres to Madhobkundo Eco-park. The drive is ninety minutes from Moulvi Bazar.
